Approximately every 30 seconds, a Latino in the U.S. turns 18 and becomes eligible to vote. Young Latinos could swing the outcome of the election — if they turn out at the ballot box.

The World's "Every 30 Seconds" project follows the stories of eight young Latino voters in different corners of the U.S. ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

Some are Democrats. Others are Republican, centrist or independent.

These are their stories.

This video is part of "Every 30 Seconds," a collaborative public media reporting project tracing the young Latino electorate leading up to the 2020 presidential election and beyond.
