ASU Professor: Long-Distance Summer Travel Not Possible Right Now

Memorial Day — which is Monday — traditionally marks the beginning of the summer travel season.

But with the impact of COVID-19 on air and train travel and most states in some sort of process of reopening, more Americans are trying to figure out just how far away from home they’re comfortable with going.

To learn more about what to expect, The Show talked to Christine Vogt. She is a professor at Arizona State University and director of the Center for Sustainable Tourism. She talked about how summer vacations are going to be different this year.
