Air quality has generally been much better with more people working from home and using cars less often.

That reality is giving scientists and researchers a greater opportunity to understand what causes polluted air and, potentially, the relationship between it and COVID-19 symptoms.

To find out what researchers have learned so far, The Show spoke with Joellen Russell, a professor in geosciences at the University of Arizona.
