The latest numbers from the Arizona Department of Health Services as of Monday morning indicate there were 3,702 confirmed cases and 122 deaths related to the coronavirus here in Arizona.

The Show talked with the top official at Maricopa County Public Health, Dr. Rebecca Sunenshine. Even with more than 3,700 cases of COVID-19 in our state, and most of them in Maricopa County, Sunenshine’s office released some encouraging data last week: What we’re doing is working. We do seem to be flattening the curve in Maricopa County.

She shared more about why and when we might be able to let up these restrictions if we’re seeing success.
