Get A Tattoo, Get Free Coffee For Life At Cartel Coffee Lab
Some coffee drinkers in Arizona are taking brand love to the next level.
“We had eight artists create a design loosely inspired by the love of coffee and we got those made in temporary tattoos, and anyone who is looking to make this permanent on their body by the original artist at Dame of the West will get free coffee for life," said Jeff Yang, brand coordinator at Cartel Coffee Lab.
It was Christopher Coll's serious dedication to coffee that inspired him to take Cartel up on that offer.
“Back in 2009, I started coming here, and the other day when I came in, and I saw these designs. I was like, 'What's this about?" you know, and they told me, and I said, 'OK, I have got to do this,'" Coll said.
Josh Carter, co-owner and artist at Dame of the West tattoo in Scottsdale, says this basically started with a similar coffee obsession as Coll. The tattoo artists would go into Cartel every day and when he was presented with the opportunity, it was an easy yes.
But he says it’s also more than just the tattoo shops love for their coffee, it’s about small businesses supporting each other.
“I don’t just like the coffee. I like the ethical stance that Cartel takes, I like their aesthetic and vice versa. I think it’s cool how small businesses can get together and lift each other up," said Carter.
The giveaway is running until the end of February.
