Tribal Gaming Nets Arizona $29 Million So Far In Fiscal Year 2020
The Arizona Department of Gaming has released its latest tribal gaming revenue figures.
Caroline Oppleman with the department said the $29 million haul thus far in fiscal 2020 marks a significant increase from last year, raising revenue for important services.
“The gaming partnership between the state of Arizona and Arizona’s tribes funds critical programs that improve Arizonans’ quality of life, like education, trauma and emergency services, wildlife conservation, tourism,” she said.
Oppleman added the amount collected is eight percent more than the same time period last year, owing to the strength of a growing state economy.
