The Show regularly checks in with the Editorial Board of the Arizona Republic to talk about the big issues facing the state and the region — featured in the newspaper’s Viewpoints section.

Annually, the Republic chooses a person or persons as Arizonan of the Year. In 2018, the choice was newly-elected U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema. For 2019, Tom Buschatzke of the Arizona Department of Water Resources and Ted Cooke of Central Arizona Project were given the honor.

Phil Boas, editorial page editor of the Arizona Republic, joined The Show for his weekly appearance to talk about the choice.
