There’s been a lot of attention recently on the role California power utilities have played in setting fires in that state. For many researchers, that’s just one example of our infrastructure's inability to handle climate change.

Joe Kane is a senior research associate at the Brookings Institution, where he focuses on infrastructure.

He joined The Show to describe some of the biggest challenges that people are facing, and will be facing, because of climate change.
