Arizona Students Testing Better In Past 10 Years, But More Needs To Be Done

The latest results from the test known as the "nation’s report card" show Arizona fourth-graders made improvements in math between 2017 and 2019, but are still below the national average.

Meanwhile, eighth-graders did worse in reading over those years.

Those are among the findings of the National Assessment of Educational Progress.

To break down the results, The Show talked to Christine Thompson, president and CEO of Expect More Arizona.
