Most Of State's New Jobs Will Require Little Education

State economists have released their forecast for job growth in Arizona over the next couple of years - they’re projecting 2.2 percent growth this year, and a little better than that next year.

But they also say many of those jobs will not require more education than a high school diploma.

To find out more about what that might mean, we turn to George Hammond, director of the Economic and Business Research Center at the Eller College of Management at UA, who says the state’s forecast is pretty much in line with his.
