Waymo
Research shows a lot of people are uncomfortable with the idea of self-driving cars. One company doing testing on autonomous vehicles here in the Valley is trying to change that. Waymo has launched a campaign called “Let’s Talk Self-Driving” here, which describes the benefits of taking our hands off the wheel.

China kicked off its 19th National Congress earlier today. It could include significant turnover on the nation’s Central Committee, with the number of new members reaching as high as 70 percent. The Congress is also seen as another opportunity for Chinese President Xi Jinping to strengthen his already broad powers.
