President Trump recently announced his support for a bill that would reduce legal immigration to the U.S. Sens. Tom Cotton and David Perdue who introduced the RAISE Act, which stands for Reforming American Immigration for a Strong Economy. While cutting the number of legal immigrants, the act would increase the percentage who are highly skilled.

It’s part of the Arizona Progress Meter, which measures where students are, and determines where they need to go, in a series of metrics — including high school graduation rate, and success in eighth-grade math and third-grade reading.
