Airplane Hacking: What Does This Mean For Passenger Safety?

Cybersecurity is often focused on its impact on our bank accounts or credit or, in the case of Nov. 2016, U.S. elections.
But earlier this month, the Department of Homeland Security revealed it worked with experts who hacked into a Boeing 757 that was sitting at a New Jersey Airport in Sept. 2016.
What does that potentially mean for passenger safety and airplanes and the airline industry?
