Starting on Monday, Phoenix will host a national conference on urbanism. The CEOs for Cities conference will include sessions and speeches, but also field trips around Phoenix.

Duke Reiter has been helping organize the event. He's executive director of the University City Exchange at ASU and he says the fact that this kind of event is happening in a city that for a long time has been known for sprawl is significant.
