Businesses on Las Vegas Boulevard.

Las Vegas Boulevard is now completely open to car and foot traffic. Authorities had portions of it blocked this week as they process the crime scene near Mandalay Bay.

As the week rolls on in Las Vegas, more of daily life is getting back to normal. Local businesses and their employees on the strip said the week has been slow, but more than anything they said it’s been emotional.

Cynthia Hunt works at a sandwich shop across the street from Mandalay Bay. She said her walk from the bus stop to work is right next to the crime scene.

"When I go that way I have to have an escort," Hunt said. "Because of the fact that people are trying to sneak in and take pictures. And they don’t want anybody to look because there’s a lot of blood… It’s scary, it’s sad."

Officials with MGM say operations inside Mandalay Bay are also returning to normal — their Cirque du Soleil shows will resume on Friday.

City and county meetings are also being resumed today.
