One of two vigils being held for victims of the Las Vegas shooting is about to begin at Guardian Angels Cathedral.

Hundreds of people in Las Vegas came together Monday night to remember those who were killed in Sunday night’s shooting outside the Mandalay Bay resort.

The Guardian Angel Cathedral in Las Vegas was packed as community members and visitors gathered to either mourn those they lost or show their support for impacted friends.

Las Vegas Bishop Joseph Pepe was one of the speakers to address the crowd. He along with several others delivered a message of solidarity.

"In the face of this tragedy we need each other," Pepe said. "And in the face of violence we stand together because we cannot let hate and violence be the last word in this community."

In addition to prayer services, local officials have also set up a GoFundMe page to help victims' families, which has already raised millions of dollars.
