There are nearly 3.5 million near-Earth objects the size of a house in the solar system. That may sound like a lot, but it’s about 10 times fewer than scientists had previously thought.

David Trilling, a professor of physics and astronomy at Northern Arizona University, published the results of this new study in the Astronomical Journal, and he joins me.
