A federal panel of appellate court judges ordered the FAA to alter flight paths into Sky Harbor.

The flight paths were changed in 2014 resulting in complaints and criticism from surrounding neighborhoods.

The U.S. Court of Appeals District of Columbia Circuit agreed with residents and Phoenix officials that the FAA didn’t properly study the impact the flight plan changes would have on the area.

Steve Dreiseszun is a resident of Phoenix’s F.Q. Story Historic District who helped lead the charge against the FAA decision and he joins us in studio.
