How Have NFL Players Reacted To New Brain Study?

We did our regular check-in with the Editorial Board at The Arizona Republic. Our focus was on head injuries in the National Football League in recent seasons.

A new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association has elevated those worries even more.

The brains of 111 former NFL players were examined, and 110 of them were found to have chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a degenerative brain disease.

We talked about it with Phil Boas, Director of The Republic’s Editorial Department.
