It’s already been a busy week in Washington, D.C., with confirmation hearings for several of President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees and intelligence briefings on alleged Russian involvement in U.S. elections, among other high-profile goings-on.

Also this week, U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., released his annual "Wastebook," profiling federal spending on projects he considers less than worthy.

I caught up with Flake on Tuesday afternoon during a break in the confirmation hearings for Attorney General nominee Jeff Sessions, and before the claims of Russia’s efforts to compromise Trump came out. I asked him about the reaction he gets from his colleagues to the "Wastebook," which this year he’s calling "Porkemon Go."

This isn’t the first time he’s taken this issue on.
