Can Artificial Intelligence Violate Humanitarian Laws?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is already embedded in many of our lives and will likely expand even further.

Some are concerned that AI is going to lead to mass job layoffs, while others wonder if the AI of science fiction is going to send us humans down the proverbial food chain.

But there are also deep ethical concerns related to AI and it's actual modern uses. Could an outsourced technology violate international humanitarian laws, for example?

Benjamin Boudreaux, policy analyst at the RAND Corporation, recently dug into the concept of AI and ethics, and joined The Show to talk about what he found.
