Arizona Public Service — the state’s largest utility — recently announced a significant move toward massive batteries and, likely, away from coal power. With that, they also plan to capture solar energy and add that alternative power to the grid.

The Show spoke to Arizona Republic reporter Ryan Randazzo, who covers the energy sector.

To talk about why the company is investing in battery storage, The Show also reached out to Brad Albert, vice president of resource management at APS.
