It’s college bowl season — the best time of year, for some — and we get a few bowl games here in Arizona, including Wednesday’s Cheez-It Bowl at Chase Field.

TCU and Cal Berkeley met and, well, history was made.

The game had it all: trick plays gone wrong, decoy kickers, quarterbacks with foot paralysis, it even went into overtime. But the most notable stat of the game? There were so many interceptions it made the history books, a record number of interceptions in a Cheez-It Bowl game, and 3rd most in the NCAA’s bowl records.

In total, there were nine interceptions, and Dallas Morning News called the whole thing a hot mess.

TCU eked out their win 10 to 7.
