Arizona’s three public universities are among the colleges and government agencies taking part in a new research project.

The plan is to develop an information system that connects residents and first responders during a flood with up-to-the-minute, localized information. The National Science Foundation just awarded the effort a $1.5 million grant.

To talk about the project, Ben Ruddell, an associate professor in NAU’s School of Informatics, Computing and Cyber Systems, came on The Show.
