The median household income in the U.S. has been climbing since 2012 and finally — in 2017 — it crested pre-recession levels from 2007.

Numbers released this week by the Census Bureau show Arizona’s median household income is also on the up and up, rising 3.4 percent from 2016. That’s the highest it’s been in years — but at $56,581, it’s just shy of 2007 and 2008 numbers.
