U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement contracted with a defense contractor called MVM that housed migrant children in a vacant office building in midtown Phoenix not licensed as a child care facility, according to reporting from Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting.

Contractor MVM says they only provided transportation of undocumented families and unaccompanied children for the Department of Health and Human Services and "have not and currently do not operate shelters or any other type of housing for minors.”

City of Phoenix officials have responded by asking the Arizona Health Services Department to investigate further, and there is a press conference scheduled for later this Monday that will call for the closure of the facility.

Aura Bogado from Reveal joined The Show to talk about how she approached this story and what she found.
