New Head Of The NSA A Likely Choice

The National Security Agency — or the NSA — is about to get a new leader, and Army Lt. Gen. Paul Nakasone is the likely choice, according to Patrick Tucker, technology editor for national security publication Defense One.

The NSA has been in the news in recent years for Edward Snowden’s leaks that raised questions about extensive government surveillance programs.

But the head of that agency is tasked with more than that — he is also the head of the military’s Cyber Command, a branch of the military that, basically, specializes in hacking the enemy.
