Professor Discusses Where NAFTA Agreement, Renegotiations Stand
Round four of the North American Free Trade Agreement renegotiations among the U.S., Mexico and Canada is concluding today.
There are expected to be a total of seven rounds as the three nations look to find ways to update the 20-year-old NAFTA.
Although the countries seem to agree on the need for some changes, Mexico and Canada have been alarmed at comments by President Trump that contain a "take it or leave it" attitude.
With me to talk about where the agreement — and renegotiations — stand is Pamela Starr, associate professor of International Relations and Diplomacy at USC.
