What Makes An Effective Election Campaign Sign

Most major intersections have political campaign signs on their corners. But since some have been up for more than six months—first for the primary election and now for the general—you’d be forgiven for not noticing them anymore and having them fade into the horizon.

Recently, I went to Priest and Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe with artist Peter Bugg, who is Gallery Director at ASU in the Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts. We wanted to find out what signs he thought were effective, regardless of political party.
