University Of Arizona Awarded Cyberdefense Designation

The U.S. Homeland Security Department and National Security Agency have given the University of Arizona a new designation.

It's called CAE-R, and stands for Center of Academic Excellence in Cyberdefense Research.

That makes UA one of about 70 or so schools with that designation.

To explain what that means, I spoke with Hsinchun Chen, director of the Artificial Intelligence Lab in the Eller College of Management at the UA.
