It’s time to head to another of the Valley’s hot corners — spots with a lot going on. 

Kimber Lanning is the Founder and Director of Local First Arizona. We met at Jivemind, on 58th Avenue, just Avenue and Glenn Drive, in downtown Glendale. It’s a recording and practice space, among other things, for musicians.

The afternoon Kimber met me there, a guy was strumming his guitar on a couch a few feet away from where we were talking.
