City Government Reporter Weighs In On Flagstaff Min Wage

Since Proposition 206, the initiative to raise Arizona’s minimum wage, was passed by voters in November, there have been efforts to stop or overturn it.

Another fight over a different minimum wage is being waged in Flagstaff. That city’s voters passed Proposition 414 in November, putting its minimum wage $2 above the state’s.

But concern over how that would affect the area’s economy and job outlook has sent the City Council back to the drawing board.
