State lawmakers return to the Capitol on Monday, to open their 2017 legislative session. And, one of the issues they may take up, as they did last year, is election law.

Secretary of State Michele Reagan has been circulating a memo outlining proposed changes. Some appear to be the direct results of problems during the 2016 election cycle.
