Former Astronaut Working To Get Civilians Closer To Space

The view of Earth from space has long taken travelers’ breath away, but it’s rare that they admit how their perspective has been dramatically affected by the experience.

Ron Garan is totally open about that, even saying that space “changed him.”

Garan is a former NASA astronaut who had two missions to the International Space Station and spent more than 177 days in orbit. Garan is currently working with Tucson-based World View on a way to get civilians closer to space.
