Art and business have seemed like strange bedfellows over the years, but in the right situation, the combination can create beautiful music, paintings, or poetry.

Among many potential titles, Valley creative Leah Marche, who is a stage poet and storyteller, is a self-described arts entrepreneur.

"I want to do it myself. I want to own my own business. I want to be in control, run things," Marche said.

She is also one of Phoenix New Times’ 100 Creatives.

KJZZ's The Show spoke with Marche and learned more about her career and creativity.

"At the end of the day you have to be making sure you're making an impact, that you're reaching someone, you're allowing someone to have a different perspective," Marche said. "It's all about that connection."
