There’s a number to call if there’s a snake your yard. There’s a hotline you can call for questions on how to cook a Thanksgiving turkey, and there’s even a number to find out if the roof is going to be open at a Diamondbacks game. But did you know there’s a hotline — 206-722-3000 — to call to reporter a UFO?

Peter Davenport, director of the National UFO Reporting Center, spoke about the program. Davenport is a former presenter at the annual International UFO Congress, which is hosting its 25th annual convention this weekend in Phoenix.

Davenport gets about 40-50 calls a day from all over the world reporting UFO sighting. He described what it’s like to be the guy on the other end of those calls.
