TransCanyon Pipeline, An Engineering Marvel, Brings Water To Grand Canyon

When hiking in Arizona, it’s always a good idea to bring drinking water — even if the hiking trail is supposed to have water available.

Earlier this month, Grand Canyon National Park had its TransCanyon Pipeline shut down for repairs. That pipeline has been considered a marvel of engineering since its construction in the 1960s. Emily Davis of the National Park Service explained more about the issue.
