Maricopa Homeless Court Helps People Through Court Process

Going to court isn’t usually an experience that’s anticipated with pleasure and joy. It becomes even more daunting if you don’t have money, family support or a place to live. That’s where the Maricopa County Regional Homeless Court comes in. It marks its 10th anniversary next January.

We learned more from Judge Kevin Kane, the presiding judge of the Regional Homeless Court; and Rosie White, who went through homeless court and paid off her violations by doing more than 1,000 hours of community service.
