Another look at the economy. The Conference Board released its monthly report on the Leading Economic Indicators. This looks at 10 areas of the country’s economy including housing, manufacturing, unemployment and interest rates. 

The numbers show the index increased 0.7 percent in May, the same as in April.

To break down what that means, we turn to Ken Goldstein, an Economist with the Conference Board.
