How Avian Flu Is Impacting Egg Prices, Arizona Egg Production

The outbreak has affected egg production, and by extension, egg prices.

Arizona agriculture officials are investigating the possibility that avian flu has arrived in the state.

Officials say eggs, chickens and quail were shipped to properties in Pinal, Mohave, Yavapai and Santa Cruz counties from a facility in Iowa, at which tests on birds have since come back positive for avian flu.

The outbreak has affected egg production, and by extension, egg prices.
