Increased School Security May Make Space Unwelcoming

Communities across the country are trying to keep students safe from school shootings, bullying and other threats, but efforts to make schools safer can sometimes mean sacrificing a welcoming and engaging environment.

Becky Brady is an architect specializing in K-12 and educational design. She was also a student at Virginia Tech on campus during the 2007 shooting.

She joined The Show to talk about how schools can strike a healthy balance in the spaces they create.
