A city in Nevada reportedly tried to coax the Arizona Diamondbacks to relocate.

The city of Henderson, south of Las Vegas, had sketches for a possible baseball stadium.

The Diamondbacks can leave Chase Field as early as 2022, per their 2018 agreement with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.

The Diamondbacks said in a statement that a number of cities had expressed interest but "our desire is, first and foremost, to stay in Arizona."
