Joe Arpaio
A federal judge has rejected former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s request to throw out a court ruling against him. Arpaio attorney Jack Wilenchik said because of the pardon, the former sheriff will never have the chance to appeal the ruling, leaving him open to future lawsuits.

Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic aggregate reviews of movies to give people an idea of whether or not a film is worth their time. But in 2016, Fandango bought Rotten Tomatoes and began posting its “Tomatometer” scores. Well, since then, studio execs have started to worry that those Rotten Tomato ratings matter more than they used to, according to Alissa Wilkinson, film critic with Vox.
