The City of Phoenix is preparing to sell the Sheraton hotel in downtown Phoenix. The hotel has lost $38 million since 2008 and they city is now refinancing that debt.

Last November, Arizona elected a new Governor and Attorney General, among other offices, and the Navajo Nation was scheduled to hold its presidential election. But a series of issues, including the disqualification of one finalist on questions about his ability to speak Navajo, ended up moving election day on the reservation to next Tuesday, April 21.
